Shamreen, a mother of two, grapples with a degenerative eye condition that makes navigating public spaces difficult with her young sons. Meanwhile, seven-year-old Rosie, who underwent brain surgery as a baby, hopes the team can design a more discreet helmet to replace her bulky medical one, so she can blend in with her peers. Additionally, the inventors face the task of finding a way to support two teenage brothers battling cystic fibrosis, a serious illness impacting their breathing.
