Takumi fortifies his defenses by conjuring a protective barrier and successfully taming an Iron Golem he names Titan. Meanwhile, the Emperor steps back for a moment to concentrate on the summoning of heroes, leaving Takumi to his devices. At the same time, Nolyn grows anxious about the Church of Divine Light, concerned that their actions might unwittingly bring forth a malevolent goddess.
