What will ultimately bring about the end of the Universe? There’s a possibility that gravity and dark matter could lead to a catastrophic big crunch, collapsing everything back in on itself. Conversely, the forces of expansion and dark energy might rip the Universe apart entirely. Additionally, we could face a sudden cosmic disaster from a phase transition, resulting in a lethal death bubble that could occur at any moment.
