After being released from prison, a skilled thief takes on the persona of Lucas Hood, the new sheriff of Banshee, Pennsylvania. Concealing his past, Lucas forms a friendship with Sugar Bates, a bartender and former boxer, as he adapts to his role in the community. However, he soon finds himself embroiled in the corruption of Kai Proctor, a dangerous Amish gangster. Meanwhile, Lucas remains on high alert for Mr. Rabbit, a vengeful mob boss from New York seeking retribution for the jewel heist that led to Lucas’s imprisonment and his split from ex-partner Carrie.
