Sheriff Underlay investigates a case involving a mother who left her baby at Russell's ranger station, but the woman insists the child isn’t hers. Her mother-in-law claims the baby is her grandchild and reveals that Christina has been behaving oddly since the hurricane struck. At the same time, Mariel grapples with her growing distance from her children and makes a startling find in the water that could change everything.
