The Espada make a surprising return, revealing that they are still alive. Meanwhile, Sōsuke Aizen, Gin Ichimaru, and Kaname Tōsen have been liberated from their captivity. Just as tensions rise, the Visored make their entrance onto the battlefield, ready to join the fray.
