Callie embarks on her senior project, aiming to photograph the exteriors of the seven foster homes she and Jude once lived in. However, an unexpected meeting with a former foster mother leads her inside one of the homes, prompting her to connect with others who have fostered her. She is taken aback to discover that a 17-year-old former foster brother has been convicted of murder. Meanwhile, Brandon, overwhelmed by the pressures of caring for himself and Cortney, hosts a house party that spirals out of control. Stef and Lena decide to fund an attorney to help Gabe with his sex offender registry issue, which is jeopardizing Lena’s job and straining Mike and Ana's relationship. In another turn, Mariana informs her moms that she needs to visit Nick to finally end their relationship and regain her sense of safety.
