S1E1 The First Day

On August 19, 2004, Amelie Delagrange, a French student, is discovered on Twickenham Green, suffering from severe head injuries that prove to be fatal. Detective Chief Inspector Colin Sutton is assigned to head the investigation. The crime scene reveals a lack of forensic evidence pointing to the assailant, and no clear motive is evident. However, the incident is part of a troubling pattern of violent assaults targeting young women in the vicinity.
