During a routine exercise, disaster strikes the Russian submarine Kursk when an explosion occurs. In just over two minutes, the vessel plunges into the depths of the sea. Out of the 118 crew members, only 23 manage to survive the initial blast. Will they escape before it's too late? What led to the tragic sinking of the Kursk?
