Dr. Shaun Murphy begins to doubt his choice to allow the new residents more independence after one of his interns makes a critical misdiagnosis that leads to serious repercussions. In another part of the hospital, Dr. Claire Browne, Dr. Alex Park, and Dr. Jordan Allen work to manage a patient with a ruptured cyst that threatens vital brain functions. Meanwhile, Dr. Morgan Reznick and Dr. Park connect as they share their experiences with past romantic failures.
