Paul persuades his mother into believing he is in a relationship with Caitlin to spare her feelings after Claudia's departure. Meanwhile, Charlie attempts to show Caitlin that his girlfriend is actually quite intelligent. As the Thanksgiving parade in New York approaches, a hastily created balloon leads to unexpected mishaps.
