S1E1 Gentlemen, Start Your Engines

Ewan and Charley spend months in London finalizing their plans before setting off, excitedly plotting their route. Ewan's wife, Eve, expresses a desire to join them for part of the journey, leaving Ewan thrilled, though Charley is hesitant since she has no prior biking experience. To prepare, the team participates in a hostile environment training course, facing potential challenges they might encounter in Africa. However, two months before they are due to leave, Ewan suffers a broken leg, putting their trip in jeopardy. With the departure date approaching, the team still lacks their Libyan visas, particularly concerning for American crew members David and Jimmy. Undeterred, they head to John O'Groats, the northernmost point of Scotland, to kick off this incredible adventure.
