As the Hopetoun Cup approaches, Jack is eager to compete and secure a victory—particularly by pilfering the leading horse, disguising it, and entering it as his own. Meanwhile, Frank Butler arrives in town, seeking justice for his brother's murder, while Sheriff Fuller is intent on filling his jail with criminals. Complicating matters further, a menacing detective hired by the bank is on the hunt for the culprits. Amidst this tense atmosphere, Jack is determined to thwart Scanlon’s chances in the race at any cost.
