Saul of Tarsus, a devoted scholar of Jewish law, fervently hunts down early Christians. However, during a journey to Damascus, intending to intensify his persecutions, he encounters a blinding vision of Jesus that transforms his life. Embracing Christianity and adopting the name Paul, he becomes an enthusiastic evangelist, spreading the message of Jesus to both Jews and Gentiles, reaching from the Near East all the way to Rome. Previously, Saul had vehemently opposed the Christian movement, even standing by as the Sanhedrin condemned Stephen to death.
