Roberto Casas, an elite soccer player, learns he has a serious heart condition that will end his career prematurely. Overwhelmed by the diagnosis, he spirals into self-destruction, squandering his wealth and indulging in reckless behavior. Eventually, his mounting debts lead him back to his humble hometown, where he must confront the reality of his situation and find a way to rebuild his life.
