The situation escalates when a museum guard meets the same fate, and a precious Mayan artifact—one that Nick hopes will restore his mortality—goes missing. Believing his former mentor, Lacroix, has returned and is orchestrating the killings, Nick reluctantly teams up with the infuriating Detective Schanke.
