Joan feels a deep sense of urgency to return home after her work rebuilding schools in Iraq, eagerly awaiting news that she'll be allowed to reunite with her unit before her injury. Meanwhile, Emmalin faces the possibility that her broken leg could jeopardize her aspirations of becoming a professional hockey player.
