Thomas admires Isla, the Flying Doctor's aircraft, which carries Dr. Claire to distant locations where medical care is scarce. He aspires to emulate her, but often falls short. When a cyclone strikes, Thomas is resolute in his mission to make a difference and prove he can be a hero.
