Gayle shows up at Bob's Burgers, visibly upset after her evening plans fell through when her date bailed, leaving her with unused theater tickets. Meanwhile, the kids, eager to escape their grounding, decide to hold an essay competition to win the chance to be Aunt Gayle's "date" for the night.
