Heather, Andrew, and Steven McCall reach out to the Gaines for assistance in locating a retreat for their missionary parents. Dr. Tim McCall and his wife Janice operate an orphanage in Uganda, living nearly full-time in a tiny 160-square-foot house. They've entrusted their children and the Gaines with the task of finding a cozy getaway for their biannual trips to Waco. However, unforeseen structural issues threaten to derail their modest budget and add pressure to an already tight schedule. As the Gaines face a major permit obstacle that could jeopardize the project, they must navigate bureaucracy to finish the McCall's home before their brief sabbatical.
