Title: Price to Pay (1) Plot: DCI Shefford unexpectedly passes away while probing a murder case. Jane Tennison is tasked with continuing the investigation into the horrific killing of a young girl. The victim's remains are horrifically disfigured, and her hands are bound. Jane's instincts lead her to believe that George Marlow may be responsible. Additionally, she faces the challenge of earning the trust and respect of her male counterparts in the department.
