Sherlock is on the trail of Martin Ennis, a volatile criminal, determined to catch him before he can commit another offense. As he delves into the case, Sherlock finds himself teaming up with Kathryn Drummond, an FBI profiler who has extensive knowledge about Ennis from her own published work. At the same time, Watson grapples with the looming threat of being evicted from her home.
