Holmes and Watson delve into a case involving a man long suspected of having killed his wife, who suddenly finds himself receiving a ransom note demanding payment for her safe return. At the same time, Lestrade has taken up residence at the brownstone, showing no signs of wanting to depart anytime soon, much to the annoyance of his hosts.
