As time passes, the group attempts to resume their usual routines. Hinami settles in with Touka, and although she isn't fond of birds, they both care for an injured cockatiel they name Hetare, helping it recover. Meanwhile, Kaneki pays a visit to Itori in hopes of uncovering more information about Rize.
