In the midst of World War II, a naval engineer stumbles upon the creation of a beloved spiral toy that gracefully walks down stairs. Meanwhile, another engineer focused on developing synthetic rubber for the war inadvertently produces an odd putty, which eventually turns into yet another globally recognized toy.
