Having spent years living overseas, Sarah and her English husband, Alistair Brodie-Fraser, made the decision to return permanently to Sarah’s hometown of Toowoomba in Queensland. They were eager to be near her extended family. With Sarah’s father hailing from Germany and her mother from Scotland, along with Alistair’s ties to the UK, it was inevitable that their European roots would play a significant role in shaping the design of their new home.
