Eric sets out to locate Kate’s missing assistant, Liam, only to discover that he’s not who he claimed to be. This revelation raises the question of whether Kate suspected anything. A covert meeting Kate had at a shady motel only deepens the mystery surrounding her possible murderer. Meanwhile, Cornell confronts Eric with shocking details he learned from his ex-girlfriend, Tina Sawyer. As Eric follows a lead on a woman with potential connections to Liam, he realizes someone else has already beaten him to it.
