The Fosters (2013)
Stef Foster, a committed police officer, and her partner Lena Adams, a vice principal, have created a warm family dynamic with Stef's son Brandon and their adopted twins, Mariana and Jesus. Their lives take a turn when Lena encounters Callie, a troubled teenager with a history of abuse and a transient life in foster care. Although Stef and Lena intend to provide temporary shelter for Callie and her younger brother Jude, their arrival challenges the family's dynamics and leads to unforeseen changes, pushing the Fosters to reconsider what it means to truly be a family.
